Hello, I’m Meesha! I’m from Leeds and recently graduated in Law with Criminology here at the University. During my degree, I enjoyed supporting criminology students as a Peer Mentor and developing my skills as a Student Coordinator.
Having experienced the transition to higher education myself, I’m passionate about helping new students know what to expect, make the most of university life and feel supported during more challenging periods. Experiencing the positive impact of effective mentoring inspired me to join Peer Support as a Graduate Intern.

Hello, I’m Nghi! I recently graduated with a degree in Psychology with Placement Year here at the University. During my degree, I enjoyed volunteering and supporting first-year Psychology students with their transition to higher education as a Peer Mentor.
Having been at the University for the past four years, I’m keen to help new students know what to expect and make the most of university by joining exciting events and having access to rewarding opportunities. These experiences motivated me to become a Graduate Peer Support Intern.

Hi, I’m Erin! I was born and bred in Manchester and recently graduated from UoM with a Psychology with Placement Year degree. Having benefitted from mentoring in my first year, I understand the crucial role that Peer Support plays in helping students to integrate into university life, establish new connections, and find their feet during a time of immense change. I also have a wealth of experience with the provision of support from my time on placement at Greater Manchester Victims’ Services.
Together with my personal values, aspirations, and overall passion for helping individuals feel supported, these experiences encouraged me to join the university’s peer support team. I now manage 17 PASS and Peer Mentor schemes as a Lead Graduate Intern.
