Peer Support

Peer Support offers you the opportunity to gain support, advice and help with your studies from students who have been in the same position as you. These students are able to share their experience. They volunteer to provide a safe space where you can ask questions at any time throughout your year.

All schemes are 'discipline owned, student led'; by taking responsibility for its own scheme (whilst accessing central support) a discipline can ensure the scheme meets the needs of students, with those needs being most effectively identified by the students who are involved.

Aims and Objectives

  • To enhance the quality, quantity and diversity of your learning within a discipline
  • To involve you as partners in your learning experience
  • To provide further opportunity for the development of your intellectual and professional competencies
  • To provide you with a supportive environment to assist your transition to and through Higher Education
