What is it?
There are five Outstanding Scheme Awards, each with specific criteria. You and the rest of your scheme can put yourselves forward for two of the awards. You will be shortlisted for only one and a scheme can not win the same award two years in a row. Thus, it is highly recommended you work with your Lead Contact Intern to choose the most appropriate award and put together a strong application for a chance to win!
Please make sure you are logged into your university account on the same browser that you are opening and submitting the form on.
If the form continues to not work, please email PeerSupport@manchester.ac.uk and we can send you a Microsoft Word form to fill in.

First, choose which award you think you should go for. Your scheme should be able to meet all the criteria set out above. If you need advice please talk to your LCI who can help you choose the best award. You can nominate your scheme for two awards, however you will only be selected for one.
Once chosen, you can submit your nomination via the submission link. You will be asked to attach any additional evidence at the end of the form.
The form will require:
We highly recommend that you talk with your fellow Coordinators and student leaders when submitting to ensure your nomination is as strong as possible.
Once the closing date for nominations has passed (this year, it's 7th March 2024), the nominations will be vetted to ensure they reach the success criteria outlined above. The LCIs will then select the strongest nominations to go to the panel.
The awards will then be judged by a panel comprised of both staff and student coordinators from Peer Support and faculty representatives, in addition to a Student Success and Development Manager (Peer Support).
Each judge will review and score the nominations independently before the panel meets. Nominations will be judged against the criteria set out below.
The awards will be presented at the annual Peer Support Awards event.
Good luck!
